Every year, spectators from across the UK gather at the Ascot race courses in the summer time to witness one of Britains most popular horse races. The ladies are often dressed in elaborate dresses and impressive hats while the men look polished in their suits and top hats. Below we have a look at what some of the dress codes are for the Royal Enclosure:
*Trouser suits should be full length and of matching colour and material.
*Dresses must have shoulder straps of 1 inch or more.
*Dresses or skirts must be of modest length falling just above the knees or below.
*Hats must be worn and must cover at least 4 inches (10cm) of the crown.
